Back then mountain biking was a new and burgeoning Sport, and mountain bikes weren't much more than cobbled-together oddities. The original WTB Crew was captivated by the experience of riding bikes on dirt trails, and they started creating more durable and functional components for their own bikes. Soon, local frame builders sought to outfit their bikes with wtb's high-end components. Wtb was able to turn our passion for bikes into a successful business. Today WTB is a global enterprise; our innovative components are used for trail riding, transportation, recreation and Elite racing across the globe. After 30 years things have changed a bit here at wtb-our little garage has morphed into a real office and the bikes we ride and the components we make have evolved to meet the needs of today's riders, racers, and commuters. What hasn't changed is our passion for cycling and our commitment to providing the cycling community with durable, reliable, high-performance components.

Super agarre, poquito pesada, si es para competir distancia, habrá que sopesar agarre-peso cuál conviene más.

Seems like a good tire but its made in ROC (China). Next time I'll look for replacement MTB tires that are made in Japan or in Taiwan.

Tengo una bicleta ya de hace algunos años, funcionando perfectamente, el modelo que traia de fabrica ya no se fabrica, el fabricante me recomendo este modelo nuevo y esta genial, esta es la llanta delantera, la trasera tiene dibujo diferente, y en conjunto, funcionan muy bien, Saludos

I love these tires. Good agressive knobs that are made pf soft gentle rubber. Might wareout fast on the road but on forest trails they're great.

Los surcos no son tan profundos como muestran los renders de la publicación, pero si son más profundos de lo que serían en otras llantas.No se doblan como tal y tienen un peso que podría ser considerable para algunos.El material es muy muy bueno.La tracción que ofrecen es aceptable en terrenos secos un poco sueltos.Pero pierden agarre en superficies mojadas, especialmente lisas.La durabilidad parece ser superior a otras que he podido probar.En genera son una buena opción.

Excelente, buen agarre en curvas, recuerdo la primera versión de hace algunos años y comparada con esta parece que la mejoraron aún más, buena compra.

I am a beginner mountain biker and had my tire stolen. Ordered this tire and couldn't be happier. Rides smoothly and looks good. Installation was easy. No concerns whatsoever. Recommend.

I've been using WTB velociraptors for at least a decade and they are one of my favorite designs. Just bought a new bike and after multiple puncture flats due to the crappy (thin) stock tires that came with the bike I quickly upgraded to the VR's which I have on my other trail bikes. No more troubles from the trail hazards. They're tough all terrain tires that I use for recreational cross country riding. Probably too heavy and a little high on rolling resistance for a race tire but for trouble free cross country training or touring they're great.

In the past I have riden IRC Mythos II's on several of my bikes...This tire is similar with even more aggressive tread. In the sand of NM I have riden nothing that works as well, front or rear ... give it a try!
