Ordered a 6-pack of this item based on good reviews on Amazon and YouTube. Am returning it! Supposed to have a 1 mile range - BS!! With one unit upstairs and the rest on the 1st floor, you had to basically yell into the intercom. And even on the same floor, the sound was garbled, often having to repeat yourself. Save your money, especailly if you are planning on using it on more than 1 floor.

It works great. It's so nice being able to call the kids down for dinner without yelling up the stairs.It was also very easy to set up. It's easy to talk with either one person, or our entire family with just the touch of a button.We did need to change the channel on one of our units because we had a neighbor that with some walkie-talkies that was using the same channel.It can get a little garbled if you talk to loud, but we figured out how to make it sound better after a few days of using it.Overall, we are very happy with our purchase.

The stations need to be placed at least 5m apart to avoid loud interference when using the terminals. All other functions work perfectly as advertised.
