TRACCIÓN DE BORDE
Los polarizadores negros planos estándar tradicionales tienen superficies lisas y a menudo son difíciles de girar.
Así que cuando nos propusimos diseñar un polarizador circular, queríamos hacer que sea lo más fácil posible girar el anillo frontal, sin tener exceso de juego.
Hemos encontrado que mediante la tracción de mecanizado CNC directamente en los lados del marco del filtro, los fotógrafos podrían poner y quitar fácilmente los filtros de forma segura.
Pero con los polarizadores el problema principal es la facilidad de rotación. Para que la rotación sea lo más fácil posible, hemos experimentado con muchos prototipos diferentes, y los marcos con tracción de borde se han ganado a los fotógrafos.
Al tener tracción en el borde es mucho más fácil girar con solo un dedo, lo que puede ser especialmente útil cuando se fija una capucha de lente.

Quality filters are out there, Breakthrough Filters are as good as any of the best. Clear photo glass, fine metal frame, US company making excellent products. That would be enough but Breakthrough Filters offers a 25 year warranty with excellent customer support backed by the founder of the company. Not many products have this type quality, warranty or customer service. Breakthrough Photography has all three. If a quality US product, backed by a terrific warranty and customer support is what you need, Breakthrough Photography will more than meet expectations.

Bought this to take on a two-week Mediterranean cruise. It was huge part of getting great vacation photos. When used properly, you'll get deep blue skies and vibrant color saturation. It also is great for eliminating reflections in the water too. I had been researching circular polarizers for a while, and this was on my wish list. When we got ready to go on the cruise I knew I needed to get a good polarizer and pulled the trigger on this one. I know that they have an upgraded version (X4 CPL) with a better bezel and the glass might be even better, but I didn't find this version (X2 CPL) to be insufficient. I shot these photos on the trip using a Nikon D7000 with a Nikkor 18-200mm lens. I would definitely buy this again and would HIGHLY recommend this circular polarizer to anyone, amatuer or pro.

Wait and see on this one!I received a mechanically flawed one and was disappointed. Had a bit of a color cast too. I returned it but then got a call from Breakthrough which was cool!m So I'm gonna give 4 stars right now for customer service and adjust accordingly when I receive a new one.

Excellent filter - Breakthrough is my favorite. I've used filters that are so thin that they're difficult to get off your lens. Breakthrough beefs up their filter edges so you have something to grip which makes them easier to use. I am also a huge fan of American made equipment that is built tough and high quality. I know they take pride in their product. I took this filter out the other day and was very happy with it!!
