You get what you pay for, the photo in the listing shows that these foot pedals have a long cable pre-attached. Reality is the cable is closer to 9 inches long. Loosen the screw on the bottom and slide the pivot pin out of the cover to open up the foot pedal. Inside you will see some cheaply soldered connections where the short cable is attached. Cut or desolder the connections and you can attach whatever length cable you want. You will need to buy the correct aviation plug for the other end of your cable as well.I am sure they will be fine after following those steps, but 2 stars for the inaccurate pictures that feel scammy.

Other complaints are true, the color coded on the bottom of the switch is wrong. It shows White common, Red NO, Black NC, but, my two were actually Blue common, Brown NO, and Black NC.And, yes, the wires are not suitable for 10 A, 380 VAC, the wire diameter is 22 AWG, and the insulation is about 0.025" thick.That having been said, it works fine for may application, switching 4V at 40 mA to 400 mA.

Wires too short. Deceiving pictures posted. Unit is permanently riveted together. No chance to replace wires for longer ones.

The price was definitely right for 2 of these switches. The build quality is pretty "heavy duty" for an all-plastic unit (with nice rubber feet). I plan to use the switches for signal-level control circuitry rather than for high-amperage applications, so they're perfect for my purposes.The only downer? In the product photos the attached cable appears to be 2 feet (or more) in length, but as delivered it is only 6.5 inches long. This doesn't affect me TOO much; I have lots of cable that I can use in its place ... but it would have been nice to not HAVE to dig into my stash.The short cable matches some of the photos I see for the "same" unit as offered by other sellers. If those photos would have been used for this item, my expectation would have been more accurate.
