Handy machine-washable, line-dryable sun hat. Keeps the sun off your head and out of your eyes. Folds easily to go inside a backpack. Adjustable chin strap keeps the hat from blowing away in heavy wind and can be used to hang the hat. Hat tends to wrinkle after washing and can be ironed if you care enough to do that. Size I bought fits fine out of the box, so I’ve never tried to tighten it.

I bought it to keep the sun off my face and out of my eyes, and it's great for that, but I look ridiculous in it. I call it my "Village Idiot Hat."

This is the second hat I've bought from Amazon. The brim is Just right and it's flexible so I can flip it up to see upwards if need be. My only complaint other than the creases is the stretchy cord that is used to tighten it around your head and the "sweat band" is too short so that it doesn't really go on your head like it should. But I wear a bandana sland it makes up for this. I live in the South and it's been in the High 90s° the past few weeks and it's only going to get hotter. This hat helps keep the sun off of me while I'm working outside. I do wish it had better air holes but after combing Amazon, this was the best suited hat for my needs. I'm thankful that someone makes a hat for us Big headed Guys.

I have a bigger size head 7 7/8 and this is a very comfortable fit. It golds nicely in a suitcase and provides wide sun coverage.

I started using this immediately after I received the order. I simply love it. I have an exceptionally large size head so when I put this on it actually fit just a tad loose, but I was able to pull the drawstring on the back just a bit which made it fit snug. The wide brim makes a big difference in the sun as compared to the standard boonie. I do a lot of yard work so the wide brim provides excellent shade protection for my whole face and my neck, depending where and how I'm facing the sun. You can button the sides of the brim to make it cowboy style, which actually looks better than I thought it would. The hat is lightweight and breathable, perfect for summer. I plan to use this on hikes and at the beach. Again, if you have an exceptionally large head, this may be for you.
