Installed this in my home about a week ago and so far it’s doing a great job. The installation process was super easy. The only issue I had was that it wasn’t installed level the first time I had installed it, so I disassembled it to redo the whole process and level it with the door. Just make sure that you have other primary entrance doors as this is a keyless entry.

I purchased this lock, paid for it to be professionally installed by a carpenter into a brand-new door, only to discover it couldn’t be set up to work. After hours of frustration, I contacted Yale support, only to be informed that the app required to operate the lock isn’t available in the UK!Not only did I waste money on the lock and the installation, but I may now have to replace the entire door due to the specific fitting for this lock. This has been an expensive and infuriating experience. Yale should make it very clear on their product page that this lock is not compatible in the UK.Save yourself the trouble and avoid this product if you’re in the UK.

Lamentablemente opte por una cerradura Yale, solo puedo decir que no funciona en México, nunca se pudo activar y por ende no hay mas que decir, habrían de mencionar que hay cosas que simplemente no van a funcionar en territorio mexicano y que solo trabajan y tienen respaldo en el país de origen, que en este caso es de EUA.

La cerradura es de muy buena calidad y fácil de instalar, pero, a la hora de darla de alta con la app de Yale, resulta que no es compatible en México: no reconoce el código QR, ni el número de serie, ni la encuentra por bluetooth. Hablé a Yale México y me confirmaron que efectivamente, son equipos que no tienen soporte en México y que sólo pueden usarse en EEUU y Canadá... Muy mal que Amazon no lo retire de su página.

Las instrucciones de instalacion no eran claras, tuvimos que llamar a un cerrajero al que tambien le costo trabajo poder instalarlo.

La cerradura se siente rígida y de buena calidad, pero es imposible usar su app. En soporte al cliente no saben dar respuesta y tampoco entregan un manual con instrucciones para explotar todas sus funciones con el teclado. De manera que básicamente sólo puedes abrir y cerrar manual porque la app no funciona.

We bought the Yale Assure Lock 2 due to its smaller size and sleek design. We knew that Yale hasn’t released this product to the Australian market so we took a gamble on whether it would work or not. The shipping was super fast and the installation was a breeze, however the Yale Assure Lock 2 was not compatible with the Yale Home app.We read a few reviews about changing iPhone App Store location but this was not possible as we needed a US bank card and address to change.In the end, I managed to download the Yale Access App from the US AppStore by creating a US iCloud account which worked no issue. All you need to do is create a new email address that will be used with iCloud, set the location the United States, use a public US number to receive the verification code that’s available online (I used temporary-phone-number.com), then follow the prompts. Once your iCloud is created, you’ll need to login into iCloud on your iPhone (remember the temporary phone number to receive the verification code again) and once login proceed to download the Yale Access App on the AppStore. REMEMBER to logout and delete all information for that iCloud account given that it’s linked to a public phone number.This process was a hike but it worked so I’m not complaining.

Installed the SL2 with a new door. Programming the lock with the app was a breeze after needing a little help from support. Support was extremely helpful and friendly. Never had an issue in the first 3 months, works well every time. The only reason I say "Almost" perfect is the delayed release of the Matter wireless/connectivity module and the absence of Apple key. Otherwise, about as good as you can get!

Yo acabo de hacer la devolucion porque contacte a soporte de Yale y me comentaron que la app de Yale home para conectar con la cerradura esta restringida para su uso solo en USA y Canada.

Had a bit of trouble installing the app but once we got it figured out it’s been working great. No issues since install. Love that I can set it to auto lock and give different codes to different people. It’s also compatible with HomeKit which is great!
