I recently purchased a black dress and I was really excited about it. The dress looked stunning in the photos, but unfortunately, when it arrived, I was disappointed. The fit wasn’t right for me, and the color was off compared to what I expected. It didn’t have the same deep black shade I thought it would. I was really looking forward to wearing it, but it just didn’t work out.While the dress had great potential, the fit and color issues were a letdown.

The ONLY reason I deducted one star is because this dress is priced at $70 which is slightly overpriced based on it being thin, the material composition, being imported, and not being from a well-known company. Pricing aside, this dress is gorgeous and runs true to size. Easy to zip, stylish train/tail/slip cut. I'll definitely wear this in Vegas, but it isn't quite nice enough to wear to a super formal event (because it's obviously thin in places). There isn't much stretch, but it isn't a super tight squeeze. Enough compression to show off your shape and figure. This small fits me well (any larger would have had too much material) and I'm 5'1", 115 pounds fit, 2-4, 34c/36b.

This blue dress is very stylish and elegant looking. Material quality is not great but design is very pretty. Fits well. It is not very comfortable. It is good for a party wear for a short period of time. Not very functional to move around a lot. Good value.

This gold sequin maxi dress is absolutely gorgeous! The crossover tulip hemline is a unique and flattering detail- it adds just the right amount of movement and drama without feeling too traditional or stiff like a lot of sequin maxi dresses. The high-low is perfect for a variety of events- semi formal and formal, such as New Year’s Eve, a black-tie wedding, a formal holiday party, prom, homecoming, or a college formal dance.One of my favorite things about this dress is the long sleeves. I’m always looking for cute sequin dresses around the holidays and New Years Eve but why are they always so skimpy? I don’t want to wear a skimpy sequin dress when I’m pale and fat in the winter, nor do I want to go out in the freezing cold wearing nothing. This dress, however, is chic, elegant, and sophisticated- it lets the unique hemline and sequins shine while staying classy.The quality is great. If I saw someone wearing this, I’d assume it was purchased from a department store and cost hundreds of dollars. It’s well worth the price and I’d actually love to own it in multiple colors.Not only is it beautiful, it’s also comfortable—which is rare for a formal dress. While everyone else is constantly adjusting their tight, ill-fitting dresses, you can just float into the room effortlessly stylish with ease.If I had one minor nitpick, it’s that the sequins are a little shinier than I personally prefer—I like a slightly more muted sparkle. I found myself saying “Thank you, thank you very much” in an Elvis voice walking around the house in this dress. But that’s just a personal preference, and it doesn’t take away from how much I love the dress. I’ll definitely be wearing it and I’m actually glad I’ll have it in my closet because it’s a style I think I can have on hand for any unexpected formal events I’m invited to. 5 stars—highly recommend!
