Had my Hoover for over 7 years, and the old motor finally broke. I didn't want to throw out the whole vacuum cleaner, so I decided to try fixing it first. I searched for replacement parts online but Hoover stopped making comparable motors, and so I tried my luck with this unit. I replaced the filters as well to ensure all was good to go. Unfortunately, it didn't work out well and broke after 2 uses (see pictures). Now I am looking for a new vacuum cleaner. Wouldn't recommend buying this.
