Instructions are for Microsoft but works perfectly with a Mac, it’s just plug and play, as always, with no thinking required. Not sure if 16 bit really matters, I don’t hear any difference so I’m not going to worry about it. I got this for interfacing with Garageband and the newer Macs have no analog input other than one pin/ring on the headphone jack so this solves the problem. I tried this connected directly and through a powered USB hub and noticed no difference. The cord is about 10 feet long so lots of cable length to play with plus it’s quite cool looking! Two free guitar picks were in there as well, stiff ones too, gotta like that! All in all a great cord and analog digital convertor for every situation. Happy picking!

Me gusto el cable lo unico malo es q produce ruido de fondo al conectarse lo cual puede ser molesto. Lo probe en pc

Solo me falta probarlo con Rocksmith, no se si funcionará con el, pero con otros software funciona bien

Si funciona con Rocksmith 2014 Remastered pero solo en PC, no en consolas, otro detalle, si tienes una versión "no original" tampoco te va a funcionar (debido a que las "no originales" no incluyen una actualización que permite el uso de este cable), por lo que tendrás que comprar el juego.No hay un delay notorio, la calidad es excelente y el ruido de fondo es mínimo (4 meses usándolo)

Excelente opción para poder usar tu guitarra con software de PC, hasta el momento no he tenido problemas con el audio ni con el cable en general.Y además funciona perfecto con Rocksmith 2014 (el original, no la edición remasterizada).

Bought this cable to use with my Steam version of RS (Rocksmith 2014) and my bass guitar. The cable works great for this usage! Configuration is key for using it there, because the device shows up as a "microphone", so you need to set up RS properly to use that input... and if you have other inputs on the computer, then you may need to force RS to use the device "microphone" as opposed to some other one... but once you get that figured out, this cable works great. And it's so much cheaper than the official RS cable, which is also relatively difficult to find and apparently has durability issues. I can't say this one is going to be that much more durable (I haven't used it as much as others, I'm sure)... but for the price, it's a great deal!I do with there was a volume adjustment on this somehow, but I think RS reduces the volume during your calibration process, so it may just take more tinkering in there to get the other volumes turned "down" so that this one can be relatively higher in the mix. I haven't played with it enough to figure this out. (RS should adjust the volumes to like 50% on theirs sliders, so you can go higher with certain things easily... the alternative is to turn everything else down, which gets you the same behavior, but takes more steps.) In the end, none of this is a fault of the cable, so it gets 5 stars!

Lo compre pensando probarlo en el juego Rocksmith 2014 remastered ya que tiene una opción de usar cable genérico pero oh sorpresa, el cable al conectarlo a mi laptop (Windows11) no necesito ningún driver, lo reconoció como el cable original (Real Tone Cable que ya tenía). El cable esta hecho de 2 partes, el jack de 1/4 en la guitarra a jack 3.5 macho y la otra parte jack 3.5 hembra a usb.El cable se nota de menor calidad comparado al original pero por el precio se entiende aunque tampoco es malo. En el juego el sonido lo escucho igual al original, no noté diferencia, tampoco tuve problemas en detección de notas durante las canciones ni durante la afinación.

After installing the "nocable mod" to rocksmith on my pc and fiddling with the mic volume. This adapter works like a charm. With yousician youll need to pause a song and enter the midi to turn up the instrument volume, but it work for that on desktop pc too. Im currently using a passive guitar and a active bass. No complaints, love the vintage green weave.NOTE: ALL TESTS PREFORMED ON A WINDOWS 10 PC WITH UP TO DATE AUDIO DRIVERS.
