Guía del usuario
1. Confirma la apariencia de tu llave, combinación de botones, compatibilidad del vehículo antes de comprar.
2. No reemplaza la electrónica central. Cualquier defecto existente del núcleo electrónico no se fijará por el reemplazo de la carcasa.
3. ¡Solo conchas! Solo una funda, no necesita programación, utiliza tu tabla y batería existentes, perfecto para fijar tu funda desgastada o rota.
Instalación
1. Corta la hoja de la llave por tu cerrajero local.
2. Saca los componentes electrónicos internos (chip inmovilizador/transpondedor) de tu llave original.
3. Colócalos en nuestra nueva carcasa de llave.
4. ¡Listo! No necesita programación.

be aware that these are just the shell of the key and do not contain the transmitter. I found out the hard way but that is not an issue for the seller. These feel like they are a great quality for the money and should function as a replacement shell if yours is broken. they also look like an easy install

These fobs are a nice swap out for broken plastic ford cases. The electronics fit well and it’s a great value for the price. I would recommend getting the key cut first before swapping the circuit board over.

This is a great replacement for the shell of an existing key that may have broke.One of my truck keys was working, but just damaged and had a plastic shard that would get caught on things. I was able to carefully pry apart the existing key. This took a little effort since there appeared to be glue holding the cap with the board in place. The battery side usually pops off just fine since that is how you replace a battery.After prying the case apart, the board popped out and I stuck it into one of the new cases. The test fit was almost a perfect fit. I had to slightly adjust the metal clip for the battery in the new case. After this, I took it to a local small business locksmith to get both new keys cut. I only needed one, but had both done for the future.Tested the new key and it is working perfectly. The only issue is that it doesn't have the Ford logo on the back. Not a big deal. I don't have remote start installed, so there wasn't a way for me to test that button, but the others work fine.Since my key was still working, it was much cheaper for me to just replace the shell instead of the whole key/fob and have it programmed. If you are in the same situation, this might be the better option. Fitment was pretty much spot on.

This was a much cheaper option than the dealership.After several phone calls, I found a locksmith who could cut the key, but I had to provide the shell, hence this purchase. The chip out of the original shell was tedious to remove but fit into the new shell like a glove.
