The bag it came in seems to suggest (in Chinese characters with Notations 6M and 5M) that this is a 0 - 5m water column device with a 6m cable. There is a small piece of paper inside the bag which looks like it might perhaps be a calibration certificate (not filled in), but I will have to have a Chinese friend translate. I would like to calibrate this device against a dead-weight tester or other calibration standard, but either have to manufacture a pressure adapter to replace the threaded, beveled end cap, or build a test rig from a length of 1-1/4" PVC pipe and measure the water level. At the moment, I can confirm that it outputs 4.00 mA at zero gauge pressure, which is a good thing. I may update this review if I manage to calibrate it, or I may return it. At this price point, it should be marked, have a serial number, and a calibration certificate in my opinion.UPDATE: I originally gave the product 1 star, I'm upgrading to 3 stars based on some measurements I made. I performed a VERY CRUDE calibration with the sensor inside a 10' length of 1-1/4" trade size PVC electrical conduit. The output was impressively linear, and the output at 120 inches of water depth was about 1.54 inches below theoretical. Considering that the sensing element is an estimated 1.25 inches from the end of the sensor, the accuracy seems extremely good. I would add a star if the unit was properly marked and bore a serial number, and would give it 5 stars if the long-term performance turns out to be good.I finally installed this in my cistern, and it works fine down to about 8 VDC. So it seems very happy powered by a 12V 1A wall wart power supply.
