The high-waisted look goes in and out of fashion, just like the width of lapels or the width of your bell bottoms. If a retro high-waisted cut is the look you're after, this suit will deliver.If a "slimming effect" is what you're after, this is not the suit you want, at least in the lighter colors. The high waist serves to accentuate rather than hide the belly. Both me and my wife agreed that the skimpy bikinis she ordered had more of a slimming effect than this swimsuit.This suit runs large. If I were ordering again, I would order one size smaller.

So many amazing swim suits on Amazon these days, both one and two-piece styles, all with super nice tummy control. This isn't one of them. I like the style and the brown color, but there's little to no support in the top and not enough tummy control to say its a feature! The bottoms actually feel flimsy.

Everytime it says to order a medium for me, but needed a large. If you’re bigger chested, go up from recommended size. I do love the back so you can make as tight as needed. I got the brown color and it is very nice for it. My bottom isn’t as rousched as the picture. Not isn’t “tummy control”. But for me the top design and color make this bathing suit worth it.

I love the color. The bottom is high waisted with good coverage but not frumpy. The top is easy to put on and supportive. Over looks great and comfortable to wear. I am 5'4,147lbs I ordered a medium and it fit perfectly.
