I got this specifically for cold shrimp, when having a party. If you can see in the photos, this is exactly what it looks like. It’s a square box with a lid that goes on top of where the ice would sit in the box with little holes all over the lid so the cold can come through. It is just OK I’m not exactly thrilled about it and the reason being there is no lip around the top surface to hold the food on the top. It’s just a plastic piece that is exactly the same width as the ice filled base so there is nothing to hold anything from sliding off. So we will see what happens but I can already tell without a half inch lip or something around the top piece that food can fall off. So I don’t know I may end up using it for something else. Anyway, I’m happy with it for the fact that it holds ice and I can put the cold stuff on top. I’ll just have to decide that it’s cold stuff that cannot roll off :-) this is why I only gave it three stars. Maybe they could fix it up a little bit better and put a rim around it.

So this acrylic serving square is very stylish. It has little holes on top where the food will sit to allow the ice below to keep cool. So many things you can use this for and acrylic serving dishes are so hot right now. I love this. I may come back and post how it looked at my daughters upcoming bridal shower.
