Arguably, This is better than nothing... but, even if the situation is such that you need it, can find it, figure out how to Tranformer it in to some useable configuration - you are probably going to die.At least, you had a fighting chance.This is an upsized Swiss Army knife... which for the most part are pretty useless.I've got one,I use the two blades, the screwdrivers, the awl, etc....Let's face it, the scissors are a joke, the tweezers don't tweeze, the toothpick only works if you've had all your shots.Admit it, When you need to dig out of a disaster, you don't go looking for a spoon.You want a sumthun with a front end loader on it - or, a back hoe.Yet, this provides you with an advantage - not a whole lot more - than your bare hands.The shovel will shovel.The cute little saw edge will saw - noticeable better than the saw in your swiss army knife.The hatchet will take down a tree if it doesn't fight back.If nothing else, it'll come in handy for the search party to bury you with.If you need it, it's too little, too late.You're gunna die.It'll give ya sumthun to do until the dead relatives show up.

Sturdy collapsible shovel & accessories. These are not toys. Blades are pretty sharp & w/come in handy at the camp site.

Got this for camping, the shovel is a little finicky but works well and folds nicely. The hatchet was promising and cut some small small branches well, but it digs into your hand quickly. I got some blood from over hacking. I guess 10 minutes of chopping some firewood was too much. Handle needs serious improvement. Overall decent and would use in moderation for the price.

MYCH better quality than I expected. It's also a survival shovel with pick, saw blade and hexagon bolt holes for emergency mechanical situations.
