True to size. Very comfortable, lightweight, and very nice looking.

I was my father's caregiver for 6 years. Walking around inside of a carpeted house 12 hours a day was new to me. I tried different types of slippers. They would last between 1 - 6 months. Then I bought a well known brand of rubber clogs. Bingo, they lasted 4 years. I still have them, but the tread is gone. I am sold on the concept. I bought these because the quality seems more than equal to any well known brand, plus the insoles that are removable for cleaning, that in my opinion, put these a few levels above the best known brand of rubber clogs at about half the price.A couple of important notes.1. The insoles are required for wearing. The manufacturer made sure the insoles would not slip out of place by putting a large protrusion in the floor of the shoe. I have not tried to wear the clog without the insoles, because that would be like putting half of a golf ball just in front of the heel of a different brand of shoe. The insoles are comfortable and required.2. I can walk into a shoe store and grab any pair of size 12 shoes and have a perfect fit. These shoes size 12 is a little snug, but a wide snug. For a new pair of clogs, I would say that is a perfect fit.Luckily I live in a house with 2 friends who wear size 10 and size 11 shoes. Before I found these I had ordered size 12 clogs from 2 other companies. My friends now each have a new pair of clogs.EDIT: Brief update, yesterday was 8/9/24 a warm but not hot day. I stepped out side to go to the store. I looked at my vehicle section and chose my 2015 300 Vespa motorscooter. I stopped to get fuel, proceeded to the store. I walked up and down every aisle. I went through the checkout. I was walking out of WinCo when I noticed I was wearing these clogs. So comfortable that on day 2 I didn't notice I was wearing them. I hope that helps anyone who might be on the fence about buying these shoes.

and more cushioning,, put them right on and headed out to the garden. Fit well on wide feet high arches . Make your feet sweat the same way crocs do, because of the plastic, but have smooth insides, no annoying bumps. Apart from that, they are quite dark purple which doesn't exactly show up on the photo. Time will tell if the strap connections hold up but for now they are quite satisfactory.

I would suggest buying a size or two up if you wanted to get the typical croc feel with socks on. As you can see with the strap around the heel it definitely is small with socks on. I bought an 8.5 and it feels like an 8 because my heel hangs off of the edge of the back and I have to make sure my toenails are cut before adding the strap feature. Nevertheless it is quite comfy and the lift and dip of the insole arch support is what made me cancel the return. It’s non slip as well which is comforting and it’s quite strong thus far. I’ve had it for about a month now and it’s easy to dissemble and clean. It gets the job done, it’s just VERY true to size.

Proper size and all but they were ordered with yellow insoles. They came all black. Not the end of the world but should have been as advertised. Otherwise, they are fine.
