I have bought several bows from Amazon so far.. but this bow is by far the best one yet!I believe this bow is a Copy/clone of an actual Martin Saber Bow.. and although I dont own a Martin Saber bow.. I bet this one shoots just as good!I am very happy with this purchase.. and this is on good looking 64" recurve bow!

ARCHERS WHO DECIDE TO TAKE A CHANCE ON THIS BOW ARE IN FOR A PLEASANT SURPRISE !I HAVE A STORY TO TELL...I have a YouTube channel (VOGTLAND OUTDOORS) wherein I teach people a simple 5-step shooting method that can empower even newbie archers to shoot (with a bit of practice) "BAREBOW" as accurately as a compound bow.On my channel I also LOVE to field-test AFFORDABLE new bows - just to show how much FUN (and ACCURACY) you can get with even low-budget equipment.SO this spring I was skimming through Amazon, and came across THIS bow.$104 bucks - about as cheap as it gets - and it even came with an arm guard ($10), a finger tab ($10) and a bow stringer ($20), so really the BOW was LESS than $75, and it looked for all intents & purposes to be a KNOCK-OFF of the MARTIN SABER - a VERY POPULAR takedown recurve built on a COMPOUND riser...(note: for those of you who HAVEN'T shot a Martin Saber, you MUST TRY IT - they're GREAT but EXPENSIVE)SO I BOUGHT IT, and it literally arrived OVERNIGHT :-OHere it is sitting on my doorstep on a SUNDAY early afternoon on a PERFECT day for archery.I grabbed the box (didn't even unwrap it) and zoomed 6 miles to BLACKWELL FOREST PRESERVE ARCHERY RANGE in Warrenville IL...I unwrapped the box, and saw a WELL-laid out, WELL-made bow and kit.In less than 10 minutes I had the bow assembled, including the cheap (but adequate) plastic arrow rest.I held the bow with one tip to my eye, and looked down the bowstring in a way that I could check for any "bend" in the limbs; to tell the truth, there WAS just a TINY bit of bend - but even lots & lots of PSE bows have this same slight twist/bend, so I wasn't disappointed...Time to DRAW the bow... and I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED at how SMOOTH and STEADY the increase in draw weight was as I pulled out to 31.5" (note: I'm 6ft 1in, so my Draw Length is 3 inches longer than the "standard of 28") ... and held it there for a few seconds.Lovely. But slightly more than 30#.I relaxed the bowstring, hooked up my luggage scale (this is what EVERYONE carries to check draw weights), and pulled to full draw again...41#. That makes MORE sense. AND it was still a JOY to hold.NOW COMES THE REAL PLEASANT SURPRISE...I nocked a few arrows and aimed at the 20m target...DAMN - those arrows LAUNCHED out of the bow like they were on FIRE - and with only 41# pulling them!:-OFOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK "DRAW WEIGHT" and "SPEED" are interchangeable - YOU'RE WRONG.Two bows can have precisely the SAME draw weight, yet shoot the SAME arrow at VERY DIFFERENT SPEEDS.What MATTERS with RECURVE BOW and LONG BOWS and even ASIAN BOWS is POWER...That is, given two bows with the SAME DRAW WEIGHT, the one which pulls the arrow FASTER through launch is actually MORE "POWERFUL" - it does the SAME "work" but FASTER.SOMETIMES you get more SPEED from HIGHER DRAW WEIGHTS.SOMETIMES you get LUCKY, and you simply find a bow with LIGHTER but STIFFER - and therefore MORE "POWERFUL" limbs, so you get the ARROW SPEED of a much STRONGER bow, but WITHOUT the HEAVIER DRAW WEIGHTSTHIS is precisely what THIS bow has - POWER !IN FACT, this bow with 30# limbs pulling 41# was pushing my arrows through the rise with the SAME ARROW SPEED as my 58# MARTIN SABER bow - IMAGINE THAT :-OLike I said - I was absolutely TICKLED PINK shooting this bow.And the COMPOUND archers next to me were IMPRESSED when I started shooting this bow BAREBOW at 50m field archery targets, and after 3 practice rounds was keeping ALL of my arrows within a 14" ring, and groups of 3 arrows (not all 6) even within a teacup sauce plate :-O ...AND the arrow trajectories were SURPRISINGLY "FLAT" - NO big arcs through the air, like with my 46# takedown longbow.I was even shooting barebow at 90m, and landing 3 of 6 within the middle 3ft of the target repeatedly - and EFFORTLESSLY with a QUICK 41# bow - WOW !WATCH for a full video unboxing & review at VOGTLAND OUTDOORS on YouTube, but in a nutshell...IF YOU'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR A LOW-BUCK, LIGHTWEIGHT, LOW-DRAW WEIGHT, HIGH-POWERED RECURVE BOW...THIS IS IT !BUY THIS BOW - I PROMISE you'll be THANKING me for writing this review !-Mark Vogt | VOGTLAND OUTDOORS
