The washers appear to work well, but you do need to compress them to reassemble the grinder. I found that by omitting the lock washer, I could use the nut to compress the felt washer enough that I could remove the nut, install the lock washer and get the nut back on and tightened.

Ich habe eine Sage SES880 und die Filzringe passen definitiv NICHT rein. Sie sind deutlich zu hoch und viel zu hart. Das Mahlwerk lässt sich dann nicht mehr festschrauben. Warum wird angegeben, dass sie kompatibel mit dieser Maschine sind?Sofort zurück geschickt und ich kann jedem empfehlen diese Ringe nicht zu kaufen.

Says in the list of models it fits my BES870. It does NOT fit! The inner diameter is perfect. The outer is too large and as other reviewers have stated-stops the grind fan from seating properly. I was desperate to make this work by shaving a mm or two from the outer edge. But. I’m disappointed and annoyed that I have a bag of felt washers that don’t fit. This company needs to, at the very least, remove model number BES870 from the list of machines this product works in. It does not. At. All.

I was cleaning my Breville BCG820 grinder and upon removing the burr wheel, noticed the felt ring underneath was shredded and beyond repair.This is a great replacement - you get 5 which means it’ll last as long as your grinder will.Fits perfectly - just a note on install - do press down with a tool on the burr wheel to compress the felt and show enough threads to get the nut started. It does take a bit of force when the felt is new so you need to compress it slightly to get everything back together.

RE: Breville BES870They don't fit. The diameter is too great. Therefore, the flywheel does not sit flush on the grinder bottom. Hence, the conical burr sits too high on the shaft and can not be fixed in place with the nut. Here I am, left with another kaa kaa doo doo Amazon POS special. Amazon must do a better job of vetting their vendors, lest the brand identity becomes "an enormous river of crap."
