This transparent mat does an excellent job protecting my MDF desk's writing surface. I appreciate how it seamlessly blends in, maintaining a clean and tidy appearance. While it was slightly curled upon unpacking, it flattened quickly after placing a few books on top. It was completely odorless, which was a pleasant surprise, as I had anticipated a strong smell when it was brand new. It’s got a smooth, slightly flexible design, making it comfortable to use as a writing surface. It's heavy enough to stay put without slipping around. It’s not tacky, so I don’t have to worry about it attracting lint or feeling unpleasant.

This is a nice thick pad to top your desk. It looks great, and it’s very nice to write on. It isn’t exactly the same size as my desk, but it’s okay. I prefer it that way. It comes in different sizes so you can get a good fit. I wouldn’t be without this item. To me it is a necessity.

Thicker quality pad to protect your table if you like me use it for not only eating but crafting and sewing. Great for preventing damage from scissors and rolling cutters and cutlery also. My only complaint is that it comes rolled up and it is taking a bit of work to get it to lay flat and it still wants to bend and curl rather than lie completely flat but I'm sure it will resolve itself soon.

Solid and thick, yet you can cut it to size with ordinary scissors. No more spills. The bad part, it never flattened, it's been months...

Great protector that unravels fast and only needs a little bit of weight to go flat. Keep in mind that you aren't getting any texture with this one which I like a lot. There aren't any grooves for dirt to get stuck in and it makes cleanup a breeze. This is exactly the type of mat you want somewhere to avoid sticky messes settling in, makes life so much easier!
