For best results, make sure it’s at 100%+ charge with at least 75% before jump-starting. Below that, you might not get enough power to start. So far it has held its charge after a couple of weeks, so I am hoping that it will remain charged for a long time.

This device combines two important tools everyone should keep in their cars in one compact package. I bought this for my daughter who drives a Cooper Mini which has limited storage space. Once, she had a flat only to discover that her long neglected spare was very low on air. Another time, she called me because her battery was dead on a hot day of shopping. Both issues could have been handled by this affordable device.We like the fact that the device charges with an industry standard USB-C connector. Most everybody already has one for other devices they already own. The package comes with a nice carry case, accessory air nozzles for pool floats and balls, and a USB-A to USB-C cable for if you don’t already own one. You will need a charging brick, but who doesn’t have several in a drawer somewhere?The auto shutoff on the inflator makes inflation safe and easy. I tested the inflator to bring a couple of bike tires up from flat and to top off a small trailer tire and it worked very well. I have not yet had an opportunity to test the jump start feature but have used such devices several times in the past (usually assisting a stranger in a parking lot) and have had 100% success.I recommend this device and will likely also purchase one to keep in my travel trailer. It will be excellent for inflating floating toys for the grandkids when we camp at the lakes this summer.

It works well so far but I haven't had it for long and used it only once. It charged up quickly and worked well on the one jump I've done with it so far.However, my problem with a previous, similar product (different brand) was that the battery did not last for long. It worked well for about six uses over about a year and a half time span, then it failed. It would take a charge and show 100% charge but drop to 0% immediately if I put any load on it at all. I had to pitch it and order a new one. This one seemed to be the best deal so I decided to give it a try. Hopefully it lasts longer than my old one.Longevity seems to be a problem with these jump boxes, so fingers crossed on this one.They sure come in handy when they're working as they should.
