These are great to take with you when looking at a used car. You can check several places on the car to see if it has been repainted or filled with body filler. This is good to know if the car has had any body work or been in an accident.

I got this Paint Thickness Gauge to check for repainted areas on used cars, and it’s been super handy. It’s easy to use, just place it on the car, and it instantly gives a reading. The screen rotates, so no awkward angles, and the limit alarm is a nice touch, letting me know if something seems off. It’s accurate, works on different metals, and gives me peace of mind when checking a car’s original paint. Definitely worth it if you’re buying a used car!
