Excellent little tool right here to have. My battery wouldn’t start my car so I used this amazing little jump starter tool and instantly my car started. No waiting, no hesitation just a great turnover and was able to drive it. This gives me peace of mind knowing that it is with me at all times in my car. It is compact and so easy to find a spot to store in the car. I haven’t had to charge it up yet so I will say the battery lasts a long time before charging it back up.This is a must have if you drive. Great product and such great value. You can’t go wrong with this.

Compact and easy to use. It has a built in light, but because how short the cables are, you can either user the battery to charge/jump the car or use the light. I know it's a battle between compact and expanding/enhancing the features. This was not a big issue for me, since I always carry a flashlight in my car as well, so I consider this a bonus for other needs/uses.

This is a decent unit despite it not having the largest capacity (knock a star off for its lower capacity).For one, it punches well above its 500A rating. I was able to jump an inline 6 truck engine with a completely dead battery with no problem (use of the boost button), and a V8 truck with NO battery at all (again with boost button). Any of the 4 cyl engines I tried, was no problem of course. Downside is, you won't get as many jumps out of one charge compared to bigger capacity units.I do think the build quality for this device is pretty solid. It's not real heavy (as it doesn't have a lot of lithium cells), but it is build solid. All of the ports have nice rubber covers that fit well, so I wouldn't hesitate using it in poor weather. The unit overall feels solid. The flashlight is nothing special, but it works. The clamps feel good and the best of all is that the boost button on the cables plug CAN ACTUALLY BE PRESSED WITH A HUMAN FINGER. Most of the boost buttons these devices use are a recessed little thing that you need to press with a pen or key or something, and is really a pain in the butt. This has a nice big button and is super easy to activate.I also like that this has USB C for charging.The downsides are, as mentioned, the overall capacity of the cells. It's plenty to get you up and going if you keep it charged though. The other being the fairly basic nylon bag it includes as a case. I would have preferred to see a nicer carrying case for this that matches the quality of the unit itself and keeps the cables separate from the unit. Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice.I read people harping on this thing for its rated 500A output, but I went by real world results, not just criticizing its rated ouput. If it's rated at 500, it seems under-rated as I've had much more powerfully rated jump boxes struggle with what I threw at this.I will gladly keep this in my car for that unfortunate moment that I need it (or reviving some old crap-box, as that's a thing you do as a car guy).

I would give this 6-Stars if I could. This AstroAI S8 Pro Car Battery Jump Starter is amazing. I have a 1972 Chevy K10 with a 350. It had not been started for 4-months and the battery was dead. Normally when it has not been started for a while you really have to turn it over while pumping the gas. It took a couple of tries to get the truck running. After it started, the AstroAI still had 75% of its battery left. Fabulous! I seriously had my doubts that this jumper would get the truck going. No problem at all and the jumper still had lots of available battery left after.This battery jump starter features four built-in 3.7V lithium batteries in a series connection. The battery pack capacity is 3000mAh (14.8V), equivalent to 12000mHa (3.7V). The Jump Start Current is 500A. Advertised as being perfect for up to 9L gas or 6L diesel engines. As easy as this jumper turned over my cold 350, I fully believe it is capable of this claim.The AstroAI S8 Pro also has 2 USB-A ports each outputting 5V-2.4A. So this can also be used as a high power power bank to charge any USB devices. There is also a flashlight which has 3-modes: Flashlight, Strobe, and SOS. The jump starter is charged using USB-C 5V-3A. It charges super fast and does not even get warm when charging. The jumper has a little heft to given its size which tells me that quality batteries are contained inside the jumper.At the time of this review, the AstroAI S8 Pro Car Battery Jump Starter was selling for $59.99 which is the lowest price ever at 25% off. This is worth every cent of the asking price. I am so impressed with how well it performed starting a Chevy 350 small block that had not been started for 4-months. I will be getting one of these for every vehicle. Seriously worth 6-Stars since it totally exceeded my expectations.
