connected to the battery under the seat on a motorcycle that has frequent issues starting after a brief stop when the bike is hot. instead of needing to remove the seat to access the battery for a jump, now the connector can be plugged directly to a portable power pack and jumped easily. this is much more convenient. has worked well several times already.

I use mine to jump start my motorcycle when the battery inevitably goes flat. It can take a jump from an emergency pack with no problem and the leads are long enough to route underneath the seat. Wires are thick and the sheath is nice and pliable. I'm going to fashion an adapter so I can use it with a trickle charger, too.

I took some pictures of the Nuofany cable I received, including some closeup shots and some where it is easy to be able to read the printing on the wires.EC5 connectors are less common than some other sorts of connectors because they're comparatively expensive but they can handle a lot of current so they are commonly used for the connection between a small lithium 'jump starter' battery pack and its very short cables with alligator clips, so this cable can be used to directly connect a 'jump starter' battery bank to an auto battery without needing to use the alligator clips, although it is worth noting that sometimes those very short cables also have some protective electronics that this cable does not have, such as reverse polarity protection. The wires are very flexible and supple so they seem to be good wire with good insulation. It is among the most flexible cables I've handled, especially for 10AWG (see the last 2 pictures of it bent and tightly coiled). The black and red wires are not joined along their lengths (which seems common for 10AWG wires) but they are held together nicely by a clear wrap at about the middle of the length which does help in managing them. The white printing on both the black and red wires reads only "10AWG 200°C" repeatedly along their lengths, which is good information but I'd prefer to see more. This EC5 to ring terminal cable allows me to quickly and conveniently connect a jump starter battery bank directly to the battery of an automobile without needing to use the 'alligator clamps' that come with the jump starter bank (which usually have a female EC5 connector on one end, just like this cable).

Use at your own risk, I ended up splicing a fuse holder
