Seems like a quality wire. Using it for winch wiring. Stays decently flexible in the cold. Would be awesome for stereo wiring.

One reviewer said it does not "look" like #8 wire. Some stranded wire that is called #8 has less copper in it because of the air spaces between the fine strands. So I took a 5.40 cm length of this wire, stripped the insulation, weighed it on a calibrated scale (3.89 g), and then calculated the volume of copper present in the sample (0.435 cm3). I then calculated the area of a cylinder of solid copper having this volume (8.06 mm2). A wire table shows that a #8 solid conductor has a cross sectional area of 8.37 mm2, so this wire has almost as much copper as a #8 solid wire. Still it is much better than a #9 and far, far better than #10.

Didn't use the wires yet but they look to be okay, not sure about the heat resistance but I imagine given the gauge they will be fine.

Easy to work with and work great.Always use a fuse! If you are buying this, you need one for sure.

Buscaba cable para soldar , así fue como lo busque y salio este producto, y no es para eso , es cable para instalación de sonido en coches
