The ability to change light intensity is very useful.

Nice beam sequence, nice weight. Negative is that while it arrived with the necessary three-pack of batteries, one of them was highly corroded, and the packaging was torn. I threw the batteries out, put in three new, and am happy with the product overall.

This is simply just a great flashlight. It's not super bright, but for an emergency it does its job very well. It's very well built made of aluminum, and the diamon pattern is nice a grippy. I especially like the three settings that allow the flashlight to operate for up 75 hours (not sure if this is accurate as that's a long test period), at the lowest setting. Overall a great flashlight to keep in the car, or as part of an emergency kit.

Coleman. The name really does practically 'say it all', as far as enduring quality in outdoor/camping/ emergency gear.Coleman has been around since 1902, selling camp stoves, lanterns, etc....The company is now owned by 'Newell Brands'--yet another American manufacturing company.True; many of their products have been farmed-out to China factories, but the bulk of Coleman products are still 'Made In America'.This flashlight is quintessential 'Coleman'; solid 'no frills' design with quality materials, delivering a reliable, basic service; providing you with LIGHT to be directed as you will and on demand.Frankly, in a market increasingly overwhelmed with 'Mega-Lumen-USB-Rechargeable-multi-function-what-new-essentailly-useless-mode-can-we-come-up-with-next?' flashlights....Holding a good, sturdy basic COLEMAN Light is a joy in the hand!

Everything about this flashlight feels so premium. The metal body, the knurled handle, even the faux leather strap. It feels more premium than my other more expensive flashlights and once you rotate the zoom and hear/feel the notches, you'll be amazed it cost you less than 30 dollars. The zoom notch is akin to changing your aperture on a zeiss lens. I don't know what kind of magic sauce they put there but it is really nice. The glass is also nicely polished and is uniform. The 200L is respectable, It is bright enough for most of my cases although I ususally use it on the medium to conserve battery. This unfortunately takes 3 triple A's and when you put the battery inside, there is still some slack from the battery holder inside the tube, but once the cover is tightened down, there are no audible rattles/shakes.All in all, a nice premium feeling flash light for a great price.5/5
