I read most of the reviews for this item before I bought it, but seeing how many were sold against the amount of reviews I bought one figuring most people must have had a good result without writing a review good or bad. It arrived a couple days early which was great for me, there was a computer print out of a test that was run on the alternator included in the box. It arrived in good condition in spite of the paper thin Amazon boxes. There was a great video of installing it from the bottom of my 1999 Honda Civic LX on YouTube that made it less painful without removing the drive axle. It has been a month and so far it has been a great deal and worked as advertised for a price which was much less than my local parts stores.

I bought this when people were starting to hoard toilet paper again due to the dock strikes - It's just myself using this & one roll lasts 3 weeks - Definitely worth the money - this toilet paper is thick & soft

This alternator did the trick! Usually I go for Auto store alternators, but since I had just replaced the one on my 99 civic 5 years ago with an auto store remanufactured model, I figured I would try this one out with the reviews it had.After installing it, I was very surprised to see a steady 143 amp average with a 14 volt average output. I figured it was cheap and had to have something in my budget, so I rolled the dice!It has been a while since I bought it and have driven the car about 4k at this point. Checking the outputs again drove me to write this review. Amps averaged at 142, and the volts held steady at 14 again.This is a good one and for the price, I would buy it again, but something tells me I won’t have to for a long while.

If I had known that all the problems with my car were related to my alternator. I would have changed since then.I took my car multiple times to check the charging system and always passed the test.But I knew something was wrong because it sulfate the negative terminal.Killed 2 yellow top optimas.And was going for the 3rd battery a Super Start Platinum Group Size 51R.Pulsing lights, weak engine after driving the car for 3 hours with the air conditioning and lights on,Spark fault codes in one of the cylinders.I decided to change my alternator because I thought maybe it was not pushing the amperage needed to keep the battery charging and sustain the demand of the fuel pump and ignition system although it showed 14.5 volts.I nailed it!!!.My car came back to life with this alternator.Maybe any alternator would have solved my problem but this alternator. brand new and the high quality plus that is not a core charge and the price. Unbeatable!!!It got to my door in no time!I really recommend this product.
