The CZC AUTO Red Lens Trailer Hitch Cover is a perfect fit for my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. Installation was quick and easy, and the LED brake light works great, adding extra visibility and safety.A couple of recommendations:1️⃣ Check the hitch pin hole placement to ensure it aligns with your hitch.2️⃣ Get a hitch pin with a lock or retaining clip—this is not included with the cover.Overall, it’s a great product that looks sharp and functions well. Although I haven't connected it to the vehicle it is intended I have seen the wiring connector and it looks good. The 2-inch square red lens looks as though it will offer great illumination when lighted when the brakes are activated. I anticipate no issues with the product when I do install it since it is a fairly straight-forward & simple technology. Delivery time of the item was, as almost always, very satisfactory. It arrived within 3 days of the order being placed without using the "overnight delivery" option. Overall I am very satisfied with the item as well as the delivery schedule.

Granted, my situation is a bit unusual. When I bought my car 11 years ago I had a 1 and 1/4 inch receiver welded to the frame for a boat. I sold the boat and thought this lite would be perfect to place in the receiver and hide a back up key for the car. I bought a 1 1/4" to 2" adapter for the lite. Big mistake. Everything stuck out much further than I liked and it didn't matter anyway because the lite didn't fit around the 2" receiver and even if it had there wasn't enough play to accomodate the 5/8" hole. The solution was simple. I got rid of the 2" adapter and using a 7 inch 1 1/4 inch piece of wood I mounted the lite into it with a bolt for an exact fit and then drilled a 5/8" hole through the wood for the receiver on the car. Everything works perfectly and the lite is certainly brite enough!

Weirdly long wires which were a pain to wrap up and get out of the way. Otherwise it works great with my car (Ioniq 5). Unlike others I didn't have any problems with the signal lights. It only lit up when I use the brake. Otherwise it was off. Nice and bright. Good value.

how can you have too many brake lights? We put a hitch on our Kia Telluride and this is a better solution to cover the hitch hole than a emblem or something. This is bright and gives you a fourth brake light for those tailgating behind you.

Fits well, cushions tailgate opening and helps with closing.It’s a bit fiddly installing on the tailgate as the nut kept trying to jump out as I was fastening it but wedging the plate out with a plastic lever held it in while tightening.Definitely would buy again.

So being in Canada it seems that everything is double or triple the price of our American counterparts.I can get this kit for a an F-150 for $26 I can get this kit for a Dodge 1500 for $28 but for a pint size pickup or the mini me I call the Maverick it's $56 why?I'm told supply and demand but that's garbage it's a new version truck and the parts of the no different than what's on the F-150.Okay rant over this was super easy to install it took me 19 minutes and that's only because I installed the nut on the back of the bolt that goes inside the tailgate the wrong way.Once I did the forehead slap it took me a minute and a half to install the bracket that goes in the tailgate.Funny story the Ford Maverick comes with bottle openers on each side of the tailgate who uses bottle openers anymore?This is a well-built kit everything goes together super well it will take you probably the inexperienced person 19 minutes.Follow the instructions and some of the review points that have been done here on Amazon and the little tiny backing nut is the only weird thing that most people might have an issue with and I was one of them and I consider myself to be a pretty above average backyard mechanic.But again no big deal I love the fact now that I have a soft opening tailgate which by the way Ford... you should have done that from the beginning.So why didn't I give it 5 out of 5 well I reserve that for only the best of things this is really good and I'm happy with it on my truck but it's 56.00...!!
