I am very pleased with these Dixie Heavyweight plastic knives. They are very sturdy and work great, and they even stand up to cutting steak or spreading peanut butter. And they are a great value online at Amazon, especially considering you get 100 count for the price.

I ordered these for myself because I got tired of the flimsy plastic knives we had in our office kitchenette, and have been incredibly happy with them. They're very sturdy, able to stand up to spreading peanut butter that's been kept in the fridge, and sharp enough to cleanly slice up a hardboiled egg without just smashing it to pieces.

These are not the super flimsy type that bend under slight pressure. I would call them medium weight, but they work as expected of plastic utensils. Descent price and strong enough to clean and re-use. I know, they are supposed to be throw away's, but it is not of my nature to waste.

There are a zillion reasons to have throw away knives around. These knives are stable, enough, sharp enough, and priced right. I'm not big on plastic waste so try to save them for a recycle bin, but if you want a picnic knife at the lake or beach where you just don't want to drag home things to wash then this is the product. The more sturdy plastic sets are more functional for sure, but they still require taking home and washing. These knives only require you to be conscientious in disposing of them. Thanks Dixie.
