Some of the bulbs I been getting seem to burn out too quickly

My lizard loves this UVB reptile light, nice size, shines halfway across a 5 x 2 x 2. Was shipped quickly at a nice affordable price to9.

I've been using the Hygger Zoo 5.0 26W UVB Bulb for my tropical reptiles, and it's been excellent in providing the necessary UVA and UVB light they need. For those with desert-dwelling reptiles, I'd recommend upgrading to the 10.0 version to better suit their environment. Overall, Hygger is a reliable brand, and I've had zero complaints with their products. This bulb is a great choice for ensuring the health and well-being of various reptilian pets

So this bulb lasted less than 2.5 months before it nearly caused an electrical fire in my home. Tracked down the smell to my daughter’s room, to find her lizard’s light smoking and also receiving an instant awful headache from the smell. The bulb power was on but no light and was smoking. I immediately turned off power and removed the bulb from the house. Then removed the lizard from the room and began to ventilate the room. We are fortunate that we were home to catch this before my daughter’s room/lizard/ and my house were on fire. Guess this just goes to show, it’s not worth saving a few dollars on what is apparently dangerous!

My turtles seem to prefer these lights to the more expensive brands. They immediately come to bask/digest when their lights come on
