It's still working after about a year of use. Thought cause it was cheaper it would give out soon. I need to change the bulb but the fixture is great. recommended to friends of mine with beardies

I bought this appropriately 2 years ago and was initially happy with it except for the difficulty inserting new bulbs which was ridiculously hard. Then over the last year the reflector literally started falling apart. It seems to made of fiberglass that degrades over time and fibers of it would be falling off it into my snakes enclosure and floor. As well as having no refective qualities left. For something that costs over a hundred dollars it should last more than a year. I will never buy this brand of fixture again.

I really wanted, in fact needed, to love this item. I bought it. It worked for a few days then stopped working. I exchanged it. I got a new one. It worked for a few days more than the first time and then it stopped working again, just a few days after the return deadline. I’m so bummed out and now my reptile doesn’t have a light. It has the perfect profile, sleek and simple. I love that it has a detachable cord for easy installation and maintenance. But it’s no use to me if it isn’t reliable. Off to find another brand that has a better commitment to quality.

The bulb that came with my 39W had been damaged and is not working.Edit: The company replaced bulb that I had received damaged! Very quick very responsive!
