The tensioner itself is fine, and it seems to be made well. However, after about 3 months the O Rings on the coolant elbow that plug into the engine block degraded and began dumping coolant all over the engine, resulting in a steamy broken down mess. Consider using different elbows than the ones provided.

Like someone else mentioned, this item did not come with o-rings for the heater hose fittings that insert into this housing - I took a chance and re-inserted the fittings with the old o-rings - fortunately they sealed with no leaks. The elbow fitting supplied did come with o-rings but would not fit into the engine block due to a casting flaw which I had to file off. Other than that, the part fit and works well so far.Original problem: Metallic squealing noise I could not locate. Finally noticed the tensioner pulley sagging outward causing the belt to be mis-aligned on 2 other pulleys - that was the cause of the squeal.

It works, came with the aluminum coolant elbow.Down side, the paint on the casting is cracked all over the place.Great value, highly recommend.
