I had previously purchased a belt tensioner that was made in China and it lasted 3 months. I did some research and found that Gates was made in Canada and I specifically wanted to purchase one made in canada. In the photos it shows that this is made in Canada but the one I received is made in Turkey. For me that's a deal breaker. I will be returning it. Just an FYI for anyone else that might think they are getting one made in Canada as pictured.

My old tensioner started rattling after only a few months. I replaced with this one and the rattle is gone. Installation took about 15 minutes and was very easy. Hopefully this one last longer than the previous one.
