Fulfils it purpose but outrageous price for what the build is. Would buy again but feel this is a niche piece of kit and Gibraltar need others to copy it to reduce the price.

I purchased a cajon for my pro drummer friend, and also purchased this pedal mount so the cajon could be used as a "kick" drum (bass drum) for rehearsals and semi-acoustic gigs.The pedal works great -- it fits the cajon, and most importantly, provides a good mount for the kick pedal. In addition, we also purchased a cajon beater so the usual felt or plastic beater wouldn't mar the surface of the cajon. This mount is adjustable, and easy to use, so I feel pretty comfortable recommending it for any size cajon.

Solidly built and very functional. Does exactly what it is supposed to without damaging the cajon.

Good price and does what it was made for and not easy to pick these up at music stores,
