I've got a few devices in my garage that don't connect well to my wireless network. after figuring out that my router would use a mesh device, I found this and made the purchase. setup was slower than I assumed it'd be. once it was working, I found that I initially had some serious connection problems. those have since cleared up and those devices work completely normally. with one exact issue remaining. not sure how to solve it... I have a Klipper based printer in the garage and when I access it via my phone, the printer crashes and requires a reboot. this became a thing after this was set up as a mesh network. it does however make everything work normally aside from that one (very) weird problem. as near as I can tell, I've got the full connection speed of the primary hub and all of the security features are just as normal. I haven't tried to test the distance at which this extends my network by. definitely a worthwhile purchase.

Excellent boost in coverage with just one. Will be getting additional Nodes for the outside too!

We had more of us working from home so I needed to see if I could improve our wifi a little bit. I had bought a Linksys router which worked fine but wanted to make sure our signal stayed consistent. I'm glad I had the foresight to pick up a "mesh" router (Linksys MR9000 Max-Stream). It's part of the company's Velop system. It's good to know if it says Velop, it'll work on your system.I picked up this refurbished item and it took about 5 minutes to get it connected and working with our existing router. You can set it up from a web browser or a phone app. I did the latter.I've been using Linksys the last few times I've gotten a wireless router because they've given me the least trouble. They need very few restarts, very reliable.Long story longer, this node works well. If I want to work on a table in our backyard, I'll bring the node over to a window closest to the yard and plug it in and the signal stays strong and consistent.

I put in 4 total nodes. Tri-Band as the hub and 3 dual-band around the house to fill in coverage gaps. Working well. Stable, no issues. iPhone interface is OK. A few crashes and takes a while for clients to show from off-line to active. Gaps in feature coverage between mobile app and web interface. Things like configuring DDNS, Different SSIDs for 2.4 and 5 GHz.
