The Overmont Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles have potential, offering the kind of reliability and sturdiness you'd expect for your outdoor adventures. However, my experience was marred by the condition in which they arrived.From a performance standpoint, these poles are solid. They are lightweight, thanks to the carbon fiber construction, and provide good support and balance on various terrains. The ergonomic handles and adjustable length make them comfortable to use, catering to different heights and preferences.Unfortunately, the set I received had clearly been used before. The ends were crusted in dirt, and the paint was significantly scratched from rocks. It's evident that these were resold as new, which is disappointing and not what I expected when purchasing a new product.Returning them would have been the ideal solution, but due to the slow shipping and my need for them on an upcoming 4th of July hike, I decided to keep them. They function well, but the experience left a sour taste in my mouth.Fair warning to future buyers: while the poles themselves are decent and perform well, there's a chance you might not receive them in pristine condition. Be prepared for potential quality control issues.**TL;DR:** Overmont Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles: Decent performance and lightweight design, but beware of potentially receiving used and scratched items. Check condition upon arrival to avoid disappointment.

Worked well but eventually fell apart or came unscrewed so returned it. Purchased for an elderly parent so needs to be reliable.

These trekking poles appear to be well made.

There's nothing to dislike about these poles. I used them individually ( alternating them as singe walking stick) on multiple, long, rough terrain hikes. That extra point of contact made all the difference on cobbly,rocky trails. Awesome and very compact and lightweight. Only way I could see one breaking is if you fell with it lodged in between rocks..but that didn't happen. Highly recommend for travelers..so compact that both fit in a compact sling pack..inside( didn't even have to strap them to outside). Others complained about ease of assembly..no problem that I could find. Thought the pushpin that has to lock in place may be an issue but it was not!!

très compact et pourtant s'allongent à toutes les grandeurs. légers et robustes.
