The Braveheart 3 meter extended carbon fiber selfie stick can be adjusted to any length from 14" (collapsed) to 118" (fully extended). It comes with 120cm, 240cm, and 300cm ring markers to help gauge the amount of extension.EXTENDING TO 120cmHolding securely at the 240cm ring, pull out the 3 sections of the stick leading out to the 120cm ring (essentially pull out the 3 sections at the very tip of the stick). Turn sections clockwise to lock them.EXTENDING TO 240cmHolding securely at the 300cm ring, pull out 4 more sections between the 300cm and 240cm rings (essentially the middle section). 7 sections total are now extended. Turn sections clockwise to lock them.EXTENDING TO 300cmHolding the handle of the selfie stick, pull out 2 more sections nearest the handle. 9 sections total are now extended. Turn sections clockwise to lock them.COLLAPSING DOWN TO 14" (the length of the handle)Start collapsing sections in the reverse order (handle, middle, tip). Turn sections counter-clockwise to unlock and collapse them.MOUNTING THE CAMERAObviously, you should mount your camera before you begin extending the stick. At the tip of the carbon fiber pole is a standard 1/4"-20 tripod screw. Included with the pole are GoPro mounting fingers with a hole to screw onto the end of the pole. Also included is the screw for securing the camera's adapter. Most small action cameras come with a GoPro style adapter. You can also just mount anything that has a standard tripod hole in it, like the Osmo Pocket camera. The handle of the pole is covered with a non-skid rubber grip. The very bottom of the handle has a 1/4"-20 screw hole for attaching a tripod base or other accessory. For me, the handle felt very comfortable in my hands and the entire pole felt relatively light weight. The pole was fairly rigid when fully extended but I felt like it did have a bit of sway in the thinner, outermost sections. Just make sure your action camera is firmly attached so that the sway doesn't shake it loose from the connection. Obviously, you shouldn't mount anything heavier than the standard action camera. If you need a super long "selfie" stick this is a light weight carbon fiber stick that is easy to extend/collapse and has the standard GoPro fingers as well as a standard tripod screw tip. Very handy for "invisible" Insta360 pics and for doing fake "drone" flying footage.

Wow, this thing really extends - I was quite surprised how far it extended from it's initial compact size. Lightweight, though a bit cheap feeling. A bit of a turn to "unlock" it to extend the sections, then turn those sections back to lock them into place. Once extended, it feels a bit loose - even when locked down. I don't suspect you would want a lot of weight on the end of it, but certainly an action camera will be fine for short time use.I appreciate the additional camera mount that is included - it's made of metal, which is a surprise given that the stick is all "carbon" material. Overall, a decent "selfie" stick, just feels a little wobbly when fully extended.

I wanted to have a heavy duty extension to use with my phone camera gimbal to get high shots and other effects. The 3m Extended Carbon Fiber Invisible Selfie Stick works great for this. I have many length options based on what I am doing with the gimbal. When fully extended the 3m Extended Carbon Fiber Invisible Selfie Stick handles the weight of the combination.I like the feel of the grip. The end is the standard photography screw size to attach to the gimbal. I have only used it hand held but it could attach to a tripod to give extra height if needed. The sections lock together and I have not had problems with them loosening up while using the 3m Extended Carbon Fiber Invisible Selfie Stick with my gimbal.A great accessory for use with my gimbal. It would also work great for selfies, especially large groups.I highly recommend the 3m Extended Carbon Fiber Invisible Selfie Stick.

As the review title suggests, this "selfie stick" (and a wonderful selfie stick, at that) is actually useful for far more than just as a selfie stick. Yes, it will certainly do selfie stick duties with aplomb, but once I got this, I knew it was actually useful for so much more.Besides being a selfie stick, this would also make a wonderful mic boom; a nine and a half foot mic boom you can easily fit in a compact backpack or camera case seems handy to me. It has 1/4-20 male on the boom end and female on the handle end, so it can even itself be attached to a tripod or anything with a 1/4-20 mount. It would also be useful to hold a small light (like one of those pocket RGB panels, or something similar) if you need to get a highlight set up on site.So don't think this can only be used as a selfie stick, it's actually useful for quite a bit more than that. And because it's light and made of tough carbon fiber, it's eminently portable and easy to live with in any scenario you might dream up to use it. It's light, it's strong, it's compact, it's made very well, and it's highly useful. I even think the price is right, given how nice it is. 5 stars.

Shoot video like you used a drone. With the extremely wide angle of the Insta 360 X series this Selfie Stick makes your video look like you took it from a drone. This selfie stick, and I don't think of it as a selfie stick because there is really no other good way to use a 360-degree camera, allows shots that can only be taken with a drone otherwise. It creates a sense of the camera being a great distance from the operator. This adds great possibilities to your video production. The stick is all carbon fiber (cf) aside from the end caps on the cf rods. It extends easily and the connected rods can be locked in place by twisting them clockwise and unlocked by a counterclockwise twist of only a few degrees. It works like the selfie stick that comes with Insta360 cameras. The main difference is this is cf and the selfie stick with my 360 X is metal. For the length it is quite light, less than a pound a quite sturdy. When I mounted my camera there was some bending toward the end of the stick when extended. Not a lot but it is noticeable. In video the base of the stick is visible, but the distance tends to make is only slightly visible. There are 10 sections, so the closed stick is 14 inches long and 1 1/2 inches in diameter. It seems well made, opens and closes much like the Insta 360 stick and adds to the potential shots you can make with your camera.I did a comparison to the Insta model and can't see any difference. Length, weight, and look are exactly the same. Same labels in the same places. Rubber grip with logo is different. I suspect they come out of the same factory. Only the price is different. Better one here.
