These I would definitely not recommend. They are way too small. I have a 15 yr old and a 7 yr old and these girls do not fit inside one of these. My 7 yr old is too tall for it and she is tall and skinny, but still looks like a mummy in this. It is very soft but also thin. Maybe if your child is a small 5 year old they can fit in this, but it just wasn't the right fit for my kiddos.

This toddler sleeping bag is perfect for our 3 year old granddaughter to use when camping. It is well made, the zipper is strong and it goes back into the carry bag easily.

For the price, this thing is incredible value. Its lightweight, not for cold nights below 60 or 55, but so good when the temps are appropriate. Its 48" from the end to the neck area as usual, even though it looked shorter than my other ones for the kids. What I like about this one, is that its two zippers that go all the way down, so it can be opened up like a blanket, or more importantly, a bag with open feet for either ventilation or comfort. My bag has this feature so i can actually use it to sit around a campfire on the coldest nights, and this one can do the same, as you can walk with this on you.My girl just grew up and wanted a more big-kid design, but she'll never be happy anyways, but I'm happy with it!
