The jar that the charcoal comes in and the description on Amazon says 2oz - 50g. I weigh out the charcoal as I require specific amounts in specific areas. I weighed the jar with the lid on and charcoal inside and it weighed 67.2g. I then remove the charcoal from the jar and weigh the jar and the lid. 26.1 with the lid and 19.2 with out the lid. I then tare the scale with the empty jar and lid. then add the charcoal and weigh it again. It weighed 41.1 grams. So we are all being shorted 9 grams. This is not the sellers fault. I understand why they are all short after doing this experiment. When I put the charcoal back inside the jar. It's completely full to the top. The person filling each jar would have to pack this super soft and fluffy charcoal down. And that is time consuming, messy, and a pain in the ass!
