Nice carrying case it holds plenty of electrodes. It has a nice strong strap to sling over your shoulder. The only thing I would like to see is perhaps a more robust locking mechanism for the cap. it is blow-molded plastic that works well, but I could see that becoming loose over time. but for the money it works just great!

I like a lot of the features of this container.. It has flat spots on the side for labels, and a lid leash so you don't lose it. The strap handle, however, is cheap and slippery. The handle can be removed but unfortunately my favorite feature--the lid leash--is sewn onto it so removing the handle also removes that useful feature. It's only meant to carry 10 pounds of rods, and I can see how it wouldn't hold up if you load more weight than that; I'll likely keep it at a lower weight threshold. The container is good for standard rods but too big for hobbyist size rods.

Since I recently took up welding, I’ve been surprised at how many extra accessories come with the trade that I hadn’t initially considered. One of the most important items I’ve had to manage is the welding rods. There’s a wide variety of rods used for different materials and thicknesses, and keeping them organized and easily accessible has become a bit of a challenge. That’s when I discovered the Chanharm 14" Rod Storage Container Tube, which turned out to be exactly what I needed for storage and transportation.When I first looked at this product, I was impressed by how simple yet effective it seemed. The tube itself is made from a heavy-gauge plastic that feels durable but not overly bulky or heavy. I’ve used other storage containers before that just seemed unnecessarily heavy, but this one strikes a great balance. It’s strong enough to keep the rods safe from damage but light enough to be easy to handle. The screw-on cap is a feature that I appreciate because it stays securely in place without the risk of coming off during transportation. What I really like about the cap is that it’s not just loose; it’s strapped in place, so when I unscrew it, I don’t need both hands to hold the cap while I access the rods. This feature is especially handy when I’m working on tasks that require one hand, like setting up equipment or adjusting my welder.The storage tube is a great size for holding 10 pounds of SMAW welding sticks, which is perfect for the amount of rods I typically use at one time. Before loading it up, I wondered if I might need a larger size, but after seeing how much it holds, I’m actually quite satisfied with this size. Anything bigger would just make the tube harder to manage, and honestly, the added bulk wouldn’t be necessary for my needs. I’m able to carry the tube easily with the included shoulder strap or use the handle, which makes it feel like a lunchbox, adding an element of convenience that I didn’t realize I would appreciate so much.In my relatively short time welding, I’ve already accumulated quite a collection of rods, and I can’t stress enough how useful this storage tube has been. They’ve helped me keep everything neat and organized in a way that’s easy to maintain. I know that when I’m working on a job, whether it’s in my garage or at a work site on my property, I don’t have to worry about the rods getting damaged or scattered. The container does exactly what it promises and provides a reliable solution for storing and transporting welding rods.Overall, I’m very pleased with the Chanharm 14" Rod Storage Container Tube. It has turned out to be an essential part of my welding setup. I’ll definitely be looking to pick up more of these as my collection of rods continues to grow. They provide a practical, durable, and easy-to-carry solution that I couldn’t do without. If you’re starting out in welding or even if you’ve been doing it for a while and need a better way to store your rods, this product is definitely worth considering.

This tube holds a good # of welding rods, is easy to open and close, has an o-ring seal, flat sides for labels and to keep it from rolling, and an integrated lid leash and carry strap. I would like to see some thicker materials used in the tube itself, especially on the ends to keep rods from poking through sooner rather than later. Beef it up and charge a little more and you’ll get 5 stars.

A good rod container for traveling repair situations. Has a carrying strap for convenience. The case has square sides to keep the case from rolling. It has a sealing O-ring to keep air and other contaminants out of the case. Areas on the case for making the case for content ID. Not sure how much abuse this case can take in constant use. Seems strong. Worth considering
