I repair microwaves and these micro switches are one of the most common failures. These are cheaper than buying a new microwave. I highly recommend this product.Update...March 2025I've had these parts for a while. I finally used one to repair a microwave. The switch lasted less than two weeks. It melted. Now I'm searching for a better switch. Don't buy these. Total garabe.

Perfect item for my WOC54EC7AB00 microwave door, however the one I put in only lasted 6 months. I am glad I bought more than one, but it is rather frustrating to replace it as it is a lot of work to take the microwave apart to access the switch.

Nothing like repairing a microwave for about $1. These switches are universal meaning it works for a NO or NC, Normally Open or Normally Closed. There are 3 door switches on a microwave typically. The symptom is that the microwave will blow the breaker when the switch goes bad. Sometimes if you reset the breaker, the microwave will work but trip the breaker again until the switch goes totally bad. It is usually the next to the bottom switch. It fuses inside. You can tell which switch it is by the fact that the little switch button won’t move freely and doesn’t make a click sound. It is a very easy repair which takes about 30 minutes. There are videos on how it is done. You need a Phillips, preferably very short and better yet, a mini ratchet screwdriver. A tiny flat blade of some sort is needed to release the switch to remove it.

Todo bien, reemplace tres switches del mecanismo de la puerta de mi microondas con estos switches y ahora el micro funciona como nuevo. (En la foto a la izquierda es el switch original y a la derecha los nuevos).

I used it on a microwave. The first one only lasted a few months. Hopefully the second piece will work longer. 4 stars because of first failed part.
