The latches are plastic. The luggage is constructed well, the main shell is all aluminum. The plastic latches are a bit concerning but we will see how they hold up. Cool design, about the same weight as my wife's plastic carry on, perfect carry on size, unique enough to spot easily on the jet bridge!

You definitely get what you pay for with this. It’s small and not well built, but it looks good.

Love the design, wheels spin easily, feels very durable -- yet heavy material. Absolutely love the color. Great size for carry on bags

This is a great piece of luggage! I bought it for a 10-day trip to Ireland. You know how airlines destroy luggage, no matter how durable the manufacturers say they are. Well, after 10 days of flights, loading the suitcase on and off the coach every day, it got home to me without major damage! There are a couple of scratches and one tiny dent (no big deal). But all of the scratches and the dent came from checking the bag for the return flight. The non-zipper was great, easy to use and secure. Security in the Dublin International was brutal on it, but it withstood their abuse. I'd certainly consider buying this one again. And the green color was adored by everyone in Ireland!
