This does't come anywhere close to the quality of the original product. In the pictures you can see the original on the left and the new one on the right. I have the original for almost 40 years and it still locks the handle as it did the first day, and it does not bend. You can see the difference in thickness in the pictures. I regret being two of the new ones based on my experience of the old one that I love. Don't purchase.

Excelente pala de acero inoxidable, robusta y con un mango resistente, por el tamaño es ideal para realizar trabajos pequeños de excavacion.

Very good quality and robust item, a lot better than the cheaper copy I bought a week earlier, which felt flimsy and poor quality.This UST trwel feels like it will last a lot longer.

I purchased U-Dig-it shovel almost exactly 2 years ago. I just looked it up in my order history so I could check the weight, because I'm working towards building an ultralight gear setup. I have the Pro model... yea, the one made in USA. That's the one you should receive when ordering. If not, return it due to incorrect product information being listed, because in the bullet points above, it still says "U-Dig-it Pro"... tell Amazon you want the Pro model that comes in the box.I haven't actually used mine as I'm just collecting gear for when I find time to go camping (probably a couple more years from now). But when I hold this one and unfold it, I can feel the quality... it's built like a WW2 tank. It weighs 6oz. Though I just ordered the Titanium Deuce Scoop from Dutchware because it's 22 grams, I'll still keep this one around as a redundancy in case my other, more fancy, poop scoop gets lost or stolen.Not really much to say about it other than to make sure yours says Made In USA on the concave side of the shovel... and that it's a pretty rugged and solid investment. Also, I could totally see someone adding some paracord to the handle, probably wouldn't be a bad idea to make it that much more comfortable.... and that it would probably be a good gift for that prepper guy/gal in your life who isn't a gram weenie. Add some neon orange, neon green, OD green, brown, black, or camo paracord to it and they'll love ya for it.... good for making a Dakota hole fire and burying poop.

Stainless steel, collapsible, and compact (a bit smaller than I thought)...... what's not to like. Bought this for the outdoor bathroom breaks and burying food debris, cant see it digging trenches for that I have my Gerber folding Spade. the locking handle has remained nice and rigid so far, more sturdy then I expected so time will tell. No complaints!
