This product shouldn't exist. I seriously wonder if the makers of this product thought about the ramifications of putting a tablet pc within reach of the driver.... Whilst they're driving.I was skeptical at first, now I'm convinced. I wouldn't trust this thing to go into my CD slot and lever off the internals as a support structure if my life depended on it.I would hope anyone considering purchasing this to think critically about what your using it for. Don't distract yourself driving. Also, install at your own risk, you have only yourself to blame if it breaks something within your CD drive.

This CD slot mount works exactly as described. The material is solid plastic and feels durable. The adjustable holder securely fits both tablets and mobile phones.However, I recommend considering your car’s setup before buying. In my case, it blocks important controls like AC and volume, making it inconvenient for everyday use. Since every car has a different layout, this might work better for someone else’s needs.Overall, it’s a good product, but make sure it fits your car’s design before purchasing.

Dirs not gold or support my S9 tablet which it says it does. It's to heavy for it.

I'm using it to hold an Android Auto screen. It came with a proprietary mount that only attached to the windshield, but that unclips and the thing is basically a thick tablet.With any of these type of mounts, of course use common sense. Don't over-tighten to the point of deforming your CD slot. If that's what's required to make it secure you might need to try something else. My car has this problem but luckily the vehicle I really wanted it for has proven more sturdy there.That being said it holds my nav screen in a perfect position. There's some wobble with big bumps but frankly I'm not looking at the screen when that happens (or I'd better not be, at least!) and the only way that could be improved would be adding some type of stabilization arms that extend to touch the radio above and below the slot.I'm happy with it. For what it does, it does it well
