Recommend for watercolor projects. It is just the right heat and flow so it doesn’t damage the art.

I've been waiting to get this to use in my water colour paint kit. Really had high hopes, but unfortunately was disappointed. This isn't a heat gun. It's sort of precious they included a heat diffuser. I liked that it had three temperatur settings. It really struggles with heat and it audibly looses power when you switch to the heat settings. The airflow is anaemic at best--it barely blows enough to move a hair across a surface. The heat settings provide some radiant heat and while the metal tip gets hot, you can pass your hand in front of the so-called "air flow" with no discomfort. I would never do this with a real heat gun. A cheap hair dryer produces more heat and air than this poor thing. I'm not sure I'll keep it. I'll definitely be getting a corded mini heat gun to replace it. I just don't think a cordless one can provide the power needed to perform the tasks it claims it can do. It definitely can't handle shrink wrap or electrical sleeves. I may try a cordless hair dryer instead. I really wanted this to work.

Heat tools require a lot of energy, so for this little tool, I feel it is ok. Not perfect as it does not get that hot. I think this tool is best for student use as there is a less risk of getting burned by the tip. The charge will last about 1 to 2 hrs, depending on the usage. I used this a couple of times for teaching watercolor painting....and it took a long time to dry up the paint on the paper when needed. But with that said, it was a bit better than using a corded heat tool and having to share one heat tool for the whole class. Its good for short small jobs. If you plan to use this in a classroom setting, make sure you have the charger handy. Its perfect if you are doing just demos. But again, even what a demo I had done, it ran out of "juice" within an hr. But it so much easier to have than a corded heat tool for that purpose.

Does the job. Not super powerful, but great that I don’t have to get out of my chair to use it.I am satisfied.

very low heat output, i had better results using a hair dryer. battery life is terrible as well, i get maybe 20 minutes on a charge and you cant use it while it’s charging which is a major design flaw.
