Replacement was very easy, just took me about 10 minutes to install. All you need is a #8 bolt driver.They are basically the same as the original ones, even in appearance, and up to now have been working very well with no issues whatsoever.Note: new screws are not included in the package. you have to use the same factory screws holding the replaced lifts. When removing the old lift, first remove the screws, then jank down the head portion out, dont be afraid to use force while janking.

At first I was skeptic about ordering this product. Now I'm so glad I did because the product fit perfect! The installation time took approximately 15 minutes to install both sides. Without a doubt they are more steady than the original parts. Highly recommend this product!

Definitely a repair the a car owner can do. Easy, fast. You just need a 2×4 or a patient friend to how the tailgate up while you perform the swap. You will need a slat screwdriver to lift the retention clip to get the old supports off and to out the new supports on. Fast to install. Maybe 10 minutes total with a lot of pauses.Seems to be stronger than the original.Highly recommend. Save yourself the labor charge and do it yourself on this one.
