I ordered these water shoes based on my normal tennis shoes size. I certainly could have gone down a half size, but with the elastic toggle at the top, these suit me and my needs just fine. These have been excellent for kayaking and even my morning walks on the beach. Easy to rinse and quick to dry. I was a little worried about the size of the holes in the bottom of the sole allowing objects to come through to injure the bottom of my feet. However, I have not found this to be true at all. There is a webbing under the foot bed for protection. I love that these are available in pink and are more attractive and functional that typical water shoes. These are very stretchy for comfort, and extremely lightweight to carry. This was a great find!

These water shoes are fantastic! I love the way they look and fit. I am going to be using them for kayaking. I think they are better than the shoes I ordered last year. They are more comfortable and the quality feels superior as well. I am so glad I took a chance and ordered these shoes!These shoes look to be well made and durable. The material is lightweight but the shoes still feel sturdy. They are soft, flexible, and comfortable as well. They are actually way more comfortable than I was expecting them to be. I am impressed with how they feel and I could actually wear them for more than kayaking. The day I received them, I ended up wearing them for the rest of the day in the house. I didn't really want to take them off. I wear a size 9 in dress shoes and sandals. I wear a size 9.5 or 10 in athletic shoes. I ordered these in a women's size 10 and they fit perfectly. I think the price is great for the quality. I like these shoes and I would order them again.I don't yet know how well they will hold up over time, since I just received them. I will update this review if I obtain more insightful information in the future.

These water shoes look more like a shoe than the typical Water Socks do. But they perform more like a water sock than a shoe. So it's kind of designed to give you the best of both worlds.The shoe is very comfortable. I was concerned about the size since I normally get a men's size 9 but they don't sell that size for some reason. Not sure why as that seems like it would be a pretty popular size. I opted for the 8.5 since that is really my foot size but for runners, they tell you to get a half size up. So I normally buy size 9.In this case, I opted for 8.5 since I figured I would probably be wearing without a sock, and sure enough, it fits perfectly.I like the look of this shoe. It looks like an athletic shoe, but it functions more like slip on. The shoe slips on easily and you can cinch up the ties if you want. There are no strings to tie as you would have on a normal shoe.The material is a mesh type that will breathe well and the soles have pre-designed holes for drainage. There is plenty of rubber on the sole, unlike a water sock which tends to be minimal. I can see the versatility of this shoe allowing you to hike/walk in areas that may be rocky but have moisture - lakes, streams, rivers, etc.I really like this product because there are so many times that I want a more substantial shoe for hiking or rafting, etc, but getting your shoes wet is the worst. These shoes are designed to get wet and they will dry much faster than a typical shoe.Overall, this is an excellent product and the price is very reasonable. You won't break the bank.

The Good: They don't chafe or scrape the skin, even when wet. Easy to adjust tension with the pull cord. Easy to slip off.The Bad: The design of the souls/pads are prone to pick up small rocks if you have to walk through gravel.Overall: I wore them for a day and walked around downtown to verify they don't scrape or irritate my feet. Even when wet there is no discomfort. With these you can transition into and out of the water without ever taking them off. Recommend.
