What a great light and the build quality is pretty rugged. Simple handlebar install and easy to use with gloves on. For the price it shines well above that.

Have had this light for several years. It gives several levels of light and can maintain its brightest beam for several hours. The bright beam is very helpful for rides on bike paths that have no lights at night. (And there are people who like to use the bike paths at night in dark clothing with no reflectors. They are nearly invisible and it’s quite dangerous.)Love this product and bought one for my kid.

I have become accustomed to the quality of Blackburn products, however I am disappointed by this product, specifically the ring clamp which has failed on two occasions in a short period of time. Both have failed at the same point, above the hinge mechanism where the plastic is slightly thinner from the moulding process I believe. The light itself is very well constructed and well designed and has a very accessible number of lighting mode across intermittent and on mode. In on mode, there are a number of on mode with varying levels of output. I believe this blackburn light has a better range of on outputs and the step down from full output is better in terms of increment, some other lights offer a step drop from full output to 1 meager output but this light offers 4 increments of output for on mode across the operating range and 2 intermittent modes. It has an inbuilt screen to allow mode selection and to notify of remaining battery time left in current operation mode, but not sure how accurate a representation of time this is as when turned off and on again there is is variation of reported battery time. However it is still a good feature for remaining battery life indication. The light can be locked out so it does not turn on inadvertently when packed away for tranport or storage. The light is used for a road bike but I believe it is advertised for mountain biking so the failure of the clamp is more disappointing as the road bike application would be less robust than mountain biking in my opinion. A well thought out full featured light with robust design and build quality let down by an inferior clamping material, the clamp design itself is excellent. Its a pity the clamping material is not up to quality of build and design of the light that I have become accustomed to and which is synonomous with the blackburndesign company.Note: Replacement clamp available as a spare part for purchase, not much consolation considering the cost of the light

Gran luminosidad con bastante autonomía (dentro de que se trata de una luz de tamaño pequeño). El marcador de carga de la batería te permite ver cuanta batería te queda y gestionar así el uso de la potencia que más nos interesa.

Firstly you need to attach the mount snugly to your handle bars, ride it until it is adjusted and then tighten it to the point that it doesn't want to move vertically or laterally without some force, but avoid being so tight that the bracket will snap. (Easier said than done -some guestimation in this). The light is bright enough to do what I want to do with it. On XC rides I can see fine in most places on Low setting. In rough, or rooty terrain then Medium or High is sufficient. I use a Lezyne Macro Drive helmet light to help see into what would otherwise be blind dips, when its needed in rougher terrain. Blitz is so bright that it destroys your night peripheral vision and seems intended for revenge blinding oncoming idiots who have their lights on max aimed high or who don't turn off their helmet lights when stopped or on placid bicycle paths! Battery when used mostly on Low is well over 5 hours., which is as long as I've used it and it said it still had 30% battery left. And yes the battery charge guage is nice to have. In my opinion, Blackburn did a good job with this one, but the perfect light mount isn't yet made - some type of stem cap mount would be ideal, especially if you could mount a garmin on the top of the light.Update.Most recently the upper half of the clamp snapped when I was removing the bracket. Not yet found any retailers that have any replacements in current stock - including Blackburn themselves in the U.S. More to follow after navigating the customer support branches.
